Learn a new skill

The AWA hosts monthly workshops by local furniture makers, club members and other artisans. Members learn how to get started, and get the details on tools and techniques required to advance in the craft.

We’ve moved!

As of June 2018, our monthly meetings have moved  to a new venue and a new schedule. We now meet at 9:30 a.m. on the third Saturday of each month at the North Domingo Baca Multi-Generational Center, 7521 Carmel Avenue NE.



At our March meeting, AWA member Ben Blackwell shared the design and construction of a solid tablesaw outfeed table that offers plenty of support for ripping long stock or breaking down sheet goods.
