Our Mission

The Albuquerque Woodworkers Association is an educational nonprofit, organized to teach and promote the craft of woodworking. Our members support one another in the pursuit of the craft and we work, through public service, to foster a wider community of woodworkers.

The club conducts an annual holiday project to make and donate thousands of wooden toys for underprivileged children.

Each monthly meeting features a two-hour instructional workshop, presented by a club member or expert guest. Members have access to a video archive of these presentations. The group also conducts occasional hands-on workshops.
